1. Eat a Balanced Diet:

Eating a balanced diet is a must to keep the whole body healthy. Avoid refined carbohydrates (such as white bread, white rice, and regular pasta), high-calorie meals, saturated fat, and sugars. To have a well-adjusted diet, eat fiber, which you can obtain from fresh fruits, vegetables, whole-grain bread, rice, and cereals. Also take dairy (low-fat milk and small amounts of cheese) and fats (the good fats that are monounsaturated and polyunsaturated such as vegetable oils, nuts, seeds, and fish). Hydration is essential, so drink a lot of water.

2. Keep a Healthy Weight:

If you are overweight or obese, you are in danger of having a fatty liver that can cause Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease (NAFLD), one of the fastest growing forms of liver disease. Weight loss can play a major role in helping to reduce liver fat.

3. Practice Exercise:

When you exercise regularly, it helps to burn extra calories and can also reduce liver fat. By exercising consistently, you can keep your liver healthy and effective for life.

4. Avoid toxins:

Toxins can dangerously affect our liver cells. So we always try to reduce the direct contact with toxins from cleaning and aerosol products, insecticides, chemicals, and additives. Still, if you are using aerosols, make sure that the room is properly ventilated, and wear a mask. Ziqitza limited agrees to say from time to time eat healthy foods to detox your liver.

5. Avoid Alcohol:

Alcohol can create many dangerous health problems. It can damage liver cells and scar your liver and also it interferes with the brain's communication pathways, and can affect the way the brain looks and works. Try to avoid it.

6. Avoid the use of illicit drugs:

Illicit drugs like marijuana, cocaine, heroin, hallucinogens, inhalants and prescription based drugs like pain relievers, tranquilizers, stimulants, and sedatives affect the body negatively.

7. Always Follow Guidelines on All medications:

When medicines are taken incorrectly by taking too much, the wrong type, or mixing medicines, your liver can be harmed. Consult your doctor before using the counter medicines, supplements, and natural or herbal remedies that you want to take.

8. Get vaccinated:

Vaccination is the best way to keep your liver safe. There are vaccines for hepatitis A and hepatitis B. Unfortunately, there’s no vaccine against the hepatitis C virus.

Ziqitza Limited says World Liver Day aims to educate people about the most delicate part of our body which can easily be damaged if it is not managed in the under care. This day spread awareness among people about the conditions and problems associated with the liver and also their possible solutions. So keep your ‘Liver Healthy’ if you want to live longer!
